Aero Camp

Aero Camp is designed to give young people a unique opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of aviation and aerospace at their local airport.

Please complete both the Camp Application and Parent Release forms. We will also require the Camper’s birth certificate or valid Passport so we may be able to record their flying time.

Campers learn firsthand about the dynamics of airplanes and flight, as well as the broad spectrum of careers in the aviation and aerospace industry. Every camper will have the opportunity to fly!

Aero Camp is a great choice for those entering grades 8-12, have an interest in aviation, and want to explore aviation further. The curriculum includes pilot-in-command responsibilities, aircraft airworthiness, weather and weather services, navigation, and communication. The campers will also perform a pre-flight inspection, plan a cross country flight and execute it!

Each camper will receive flight time and will go on a flying field trip! The camp Fee of $875 covers all fees and activities. Students will be given an Aero Camp t-shirt at the start of camp.

Note on COVID: We fully expect to be in a position to conduct this camp in a safe manner this summer. Appropriate precautions will be put in place based on the conditions as they will exists this summer. If we feel conditions are not safe June, we will cancel and provide full refunds.
